News:Counter Strike Global Offensive announced by Valve

New Counter Strike confirmed!!!

Valve have confirmed the rumors that an updated version of Counter Strike was in development stating that it "Delivers updated versions of classic CS content (DE_dust, ect)".

Very few details have been released about the new Counter Strike game other than it will be coming to both PC, Mac and Consoles(Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3). This will be the first outing on Consoles for the Counter Strike series.

I am very exited about the announcement of an updated CSS and it will be very interesting to see if and how Valve redefine the FPS genre or whether it falls back onto familiar tropes such as load-outs and XP/levels.
